Location: United Kingdom (site-based and remote working depending on projects)
Contract Type: Contract / Part-Time or Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience and project scope

Role Overview
Atlas is recruiting a Security Operations Manager to oversee operational delivery across client sites and event environments. The role involves managing security teams, ensuring service standards, coordinating deployments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

This position suits someone with leadership experience in the UK private security sector who understands operational planning, incident management, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and delivery of operational security services
  • Lead, supervise, and support security officers and team leaders
  • Oversee rostering, deployments, and shift coverage
  • Carry out site visits, performance checks, and operational audits
  • Ensure service delivery meets contractual, legal, and safety standards
  • Monitor incident reporting and investigate operational issues
  • Maintain communication with clients and respond to operational needs
  • Support recruitment, training, and onboarding for security staff
  • Assist with risk and threat assessments linked to deployments
  • Maintain high professional standards and operational discipline

Essential Requirements

  • Proven supervisory or management experience in the security industry
  • Strong understanding of UK private security standards and legislation
  • SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage high-pressure situations
  • Competent report writing and record keeping
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience

  • Experience managing event security or multiple site operations
  • CCTV and monitoring system knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in security consultancy or operational planning

Working Pattern & Pay Structure

  • Contract or permanent agreements available
  • Part-time or full-time hours depending on business need
  • Flexible working pattern, including evenings and weekends depending on contract
  • Pay aligned with experience and market rates
